Why did you start this site?
Well obviously, to make money. But there's much more to it than that. I want to see if it is possible to use the internet to achieve some financial freedom from my day job. Earning money from a website would mean that I could earn money even while I wasn't actually working, giving me time to do other things. I wanted to see if I could create something that would earn money for me while I wasn't physically there.Secondly, with the recession and even the slightest bit of job uncertainty I want to find a second source of income just in case I ever need to rely on it. It's never good to keep all your eggs in one basket.
Finally, I'm tired of finding sites claiming it is easy to make ridiculous amounts of money with no effort at all on the internet so I want to find out for myself if its possible and what amount of effort is needed. If it is possible then I want to compile how it is done into one easy to understand resource with examples.
What are your aims?
To start off, making any money at all from this site would be great. If I can achieve that then my overall goal is to make £2000 in a month from my website. Anything more would be a bonus.Is this something anyone can do?
Anyone can start a website. I have some basic web design skills but not a great deal. I've tried to code the site using HTML and CSS (web design programming languages) myself with some help from web design forums but you don't have to. There are plenty of products which do it for you.
